The Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE) is still accepting suggestions on where to go next. In preparation for the 2027 calendar year, MTE is inviting you to share your ideas with them. Which mining regions, industrial hubs or operations would you like to exhibit at next year?

To date, these high-impact expos have supported and connected suppliers and mining houses across Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and visited different provinces in South Africa. For more than 30 years, businesses have had the opportunity to showcase their industry solutions and be a part of the broader industry discussions to the right audience while tailoring engagement to local market needs.

MTE does this by bringing suppliers to where the heart of the operations takes place, whether it is mining, manufacturing, paper and pulp, smelting, ports and heavy industries. This face-to-face approach has created thousands of valuable business connections and continues to deliver strong returns for exhibitors.

This year’s exhibitions have reinforced once again the value of this approach, with exhibitors engaging directly with mine managers, engineering teams, maintenance managers and project leaders. Earlier this year, MTE also visited several other major mining and industrial regions, continuing its mission of bringing industry together where business happens.

As investment in mining and infrastructure continues to grow, new opportunities are emerging across the SADC region. Expansion projects, new processing facilities, renewable energy developments and mine-life extension programmes are creating new demand for innovative products, technologies and services.

As a result, MTE is looking to explore and expand even bigger in 2027, but to do that, they need your input. So, do you know of any mining regions, industrial plants, processing facilities or emerging project areas where you believe MTE should host an exhibition? Are there operations your sales team would like greater access to? Is there a province or industrial hub where you see increasing business potential? Your feedback plays an important role in helping us identify new opportunities while strengthening our presence in the regions that consistently deliver quality visitors and excellent business outcomes.

The 2027 calendar should continue to reflect the needs of both exhibitors and industry. If there is a mine, industrial complex or region you would like to see included, we want to hear from you.
