The Mining Technical and Exhibitions (MTE) will touch down in KwaZulu-Natal and Limpopo this June for its specialised paper and pulp and mining and mineral processing exhibitions, and you are invited.
Starting things off is the MTE Sappi Saiccor show taking place on 2 June 2026 at Sappi Saiccor Mill in Umkomaas. This trade show will run from 12:00 to 16:00, bringing together papermakers, mill operators, and process control operators with industrial, technical and engineering vendors on-site. These suppliers will have an opportunity to showcase their cutting-edge and innovative process solutions at this closed-off exhibition.
Exhibitors of heavy-duty equipment such as slurry pumps, cranes, hoists, industrial valves and lifting rigging are invited to sign up for the expo. Including those who specialise in safety and electrical supplies.
This expo will be followed by the Richards Bay Mining, Engineering & Mineral Processing Exhibition on 4 June 2026 at John Ross College. T
his not-to-be-missed, high-impact industrial expo will kick off from 13:00 to 17:00.
This highly diversified show is tailored to address challenges faced by the various industries in the region – including mining, smelters, the agricultural sector and sugar milling in Empangeni in particular, the Richards Bay harbour and coal terminal, and the paper and pulp sector.
Visitors will want to see suppliers on the day that specialise in sugar, harbour, paper and forestry sectors – including experts specialising in heavy equipment used for mineral sand extraction and restoration.
From the Kwa-Zulu Natal shows, MTE will head straight to Phalaborwa in Limpopo on 18 June 2026 – this region remains one of the key mining operations for South Africa’s mineral processing. Suppliers will engage with operations requiring mining equipment and processing solutions such as PPE, plant reliability and maintenance solutions and electrical upgrades and automation technologies.
