MTE’s Ngodwana Industrial Exhibition in Mpumalanga will be held at the Ngodwana Training Centre on 22 August, 2024 from 12:00 to 16:00.

The target of this expo is the Ngodwana Mill, owned by Sappi, has been operating for over 50 years and has undergone many significant expansions over the years, including the addition of two paper machines, a coal-fired power boiler and a DP plant. The mill is a major role player in the province, contributing over R5-billion annually to the local economy and employing over 1 000 staff and 700 contractors.1

“We encourage businesses outside of the scope of mining to join the exhibition. These include businesses involved in the sugar and forestry industries. Sappi Ngodwana is an ideal area to incorporate these industries. Exhibitors we would like to see include companies that supply equipment or products to the paper and pulp industry, cooling towers and heat exchangers, product movement and transfer services, abrasives, instrumentation, conveyor chains, forestry equipment, lubrication products and cable accessories and PPE,” says Andrew Macnamara, operations director at MTE.
