As 2020 draws to a close, the Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE) team is back on the road. Despite difficult circumstances and a wild Covid-19 rollercoaster ride, MTE will be out in full force when we return to the Winterveld Rec Club in Steelpoort on 19 November 2020 to host our world-class travelling exhibition.

In what will be the first MTE exhibition after the nationwide lockdown, visitors can expect a powerpacked four hours from the time they first set foot in the yellow and orange MTE welcoming tent.
Because safety is MTE’s primary concern, Covid-19 protocols will be observed as visitors make their way through the exhibitor stands.

The Steelpoort area, straddling the Eastern Limb of the world-famous Bushveld Igneous Complex, hosts rock rich in chrome and Platinum Group Metals (PGMs). South Africa is the number one producer of platinum in the world, and with demand for palladium, platinum and rodium on an upward trajectory, Steelpoort is wellpositioned to become a global mining hotspot.

Expo time at Steelpoort!

MTE provides exhibitors with a unique opportunity to mingle and network with grassroot decision makers, while showcasing their latest offerings. In preparation for the expo, MTE did extensive
research on exactly what the mining companies need and then matched those needs with what the suppliers could provide. The result is that MTE brings together the right buyer and the right
supplier – which adds immense value to visiting and exhibiting at the MTE Exhibition.

MTE has been running shows for over 25 years, and provides a unique platform for suppliers of top-of-theline mining and industrial equipment to showcase their goods to a mining community hungry for new technology, services and information – right on its doorstep.

MTE is part of Interact Media Defined (IMD), a multi-media publishing house with publications in various industries including mining, plumbing, building and civil engineering among others.

We trust the expo will be a rewarding experience – whether you are visiting or exhibiting. We are always open to suggestions as to how we can make future expos even more accommodating for you and your business – so if you have any comments or suggestions, please be in touch!
