During the month of October MTE once again delivered on its promises to create exciting, high impact exhibitions which resulted in some rewarding business interactions between top level management and our dedicated exhibitors. Two successful exhibitions took place, the first of which was the Steelpoort Mining & Industrial Exhibition, and the other was the Sibanye-Stillwater Gold Division Mining & Industrial Exhibition.

Steelpoort Mining & Industrial Exhibition

Taking place on 13 October at the Winterveld Rec Club, it was a particularly hot day but that did not stop MTE from delivering another great show with positive feedback from all parties involved. We had a total of 77 exhibitors, most of whom reported that despite the intense heat it was a worthwhile show for them thanks to the quality of visitors who came through to see the stands. A total of 325 visitors made an appearance; including general managers, engineering managers, administrators, buyers, mine overseers, plant managers, procurement coordinators, mechanical maintenance supervisors, plant supervisors, safety officers and managing directors – among many other high-profile visitors. These visitors were impressed by the stands on display and overall it was a great day for MTE and our clients.

Sibanye-Stillwater Gold Division Mining & Industrial Exhibition

Our next exhibition was the Sibanye-Stillwater Gold Division, with a focus on gold mining and beneficiation. Initially it was reported that weather conditions would be foul but on the day we were pleased to be greeted by fantastic sunshine and blue skies. Just over 40 suppliers joined us for what turned out to be a great networking event. 150 visitors came to see the stands, with different teams of staff from the nearby mines with many of them being end-users who work closely with the products and who were curious about seeing the latest innovations on display. Supervisory staff attended as well, with environmental managers, shift bosses and a foreman, among others.

MTE is all about creating value for our clients. Extensive arrangements were made in advance of these shows in order to make sure everything went smoothly. From organising the venue to making sure all the stands were set up and ready on the days, MTE worked tirelessly to deliver a pair of hugely beneficial expos.

MTE shows are a superb platform for engagement between mine management and suppliers. With each expo customised according to the needs of the mines, we ensure that your business gets the exposure it needs to forge business relationships which can last for many years.

We aim to keep up the pace going forward into 2023, so if you want a piece of the action you had best book your place to ensure your business can also benefit from our ability to connect solutions providers with those who need their products and services most.
