RCT has opened an office in Santiago, Chile to provide comprehensive business and technical support to existing and potential clients in the regional mining industry.
Situated in the business district of Las Condes, the office represents the latest development in RCT’s longstanding business dealings in the country, which spans almost 20 years. The office contains a meeting/training room, commercial office space and a workshop and storage area.
RCT Business Manager – South America, Rafael Tarud, welcomes the opportunity to host mining industry figures at the office in order to better understand their company’s needs. “We are now better placed to service mining companies throughout the Latin American region with our local engineers able to respond quickly to developing situations and enquiries,” he says.
The office is home to a core group of multilingual staff comprising a business development team and an engineering and field servicing team with space to accommodate additional staff in the future. “RCT has worked in Chile for a long time including delivering automation projects at the El Teniente copper mine for Codelco and our new office will help us to provide additional support to existing and new projects,” Tarud adds.
“We welcome the opportunity to engage with the regional mining industry and share our expertise to deliver real benefits.” RCT Chile is located at Reyes Lavalle 3170, office 28, Las Condes in Santiago.
