MTE’s Cement & Industrial Exhibition was cast in stone for the 18 November 2021 at Hoërskool Lichtenburg. Over 125 visitors attended the high impact show where 24 top-notch suppliers to the cement industry, hand-picked by MTE from a relevance point of view, showcased their industry solutions.

Sheldon Greybe, external sales representative at MTE, spoke with a new supplier exhibiting at the show, Toni Vajsel, director of Impact Turnkey Refactories. The company focuses on refactory, demolition and installation services in the cement and steel industries (platinum and steel). This local Lichtenburg supplier offers the operations in the North West Province turnkey projects, assisting the end user with planning and end-to-end project management services. Sharing his experience on the day with African Mining, Vajsel expressed thanks to MTE for a successful 2021 Cement & Industrial Expo, saying, “We will definitely support MTE in the future. The staff and organisation were of world-class quality.” Vajsel, also expressed his gratitude to Allied Mineral Products SA, a global leader in the design and manufacturing of Monolithic Refractories and precast shapes, and Demolition and Drilling Equipment, supplier of Brokk and Bricking Solutions equipment in South Africa, for joining his company in exhibiting solutions on the day.

Vajsel commented on the attendance of the show, saying, “There was great interaction and support from Lafarge, PPC, AfriSam and Sephaku cement. The exposure was magnificent.”

Greybe also spoke with Charles Coetzee, sales manager, Industrial Division, and Ralph van der Merwe, business manager, Precast, at Allied Mineral Products South Africa. The company has a manufacturing plant in Germiston specialising in monolithic refactories, with the ability to offer precast shapes. (see video interview)

 Coetzee highlighted to African Mining that their expectations had been met with regards to their achievements on the day at the intimate show.
