After an absolutely sweltering first quarter, MTE looks set to make 2023 a bumper year as per the goals the team set for themselves at the start of the year. While it is true that business has been hot, MTE is only just warming up and the shows booked for May are going to continue with the exceptional standard we have seen up to this point.
First up in the May line-up will be the Royal Bafokeng exhibition on 9 May, where the team will return once more to the North West province. Taking this in their stride, the team will then move on to the Zondereinde exhibition in Limpopo on 11 May. Finally, the Emalahleni exhibition will end off this month’s expo schedule on 24 May in Mpumalanga.
Royal Bafokeng
9 May 2023
Security Soccer Fields
13h00-17h00
MTE is bringing the ‘royal treatment’ to Bafokeng this month, with a fully tailored exhibition set to take place at the RBPlat Security Soccer Fields. This show will place the spotlight on the chrome and PGMs industries, and we are confident that our exhibitors will put on a dazzling display with the various innovative technologies they can supply. Suppliers to these industries who are new to MTE will soon discover the advantages of exhibiting with us once they have had a chance to network with high quality personnel from the mines who are always in need of new solutions. It is also worth noting that the Styldrift underground mine at Royal Bafokeng has been in the process of being upgraded with new infrastructure and utilities – a great opportunity for those who can supply the equipment and services needed for this.
Zondereinde
11 May 2023
Zondereinde Rec Club
13h00-17h00
Having brought a vast amount of good business to the North West province this year alone, the MTE team will be tackling the Limpopo province next with a stunning exhibition set to take place at Zondereinde Rec Club. This mine, which has been operational almost as long as MTE at 30 years running, mainly produces platinum but also features production of palladium, rhodium, gold, ruthenium and iridium. To keep the platinum and other minerals flowing requires high performance equipment and consumables, giving you as the supplier an ideal opportunity to make a name for yourself as a go-to provider. MTE has forged worthwhile connections like this since its inception, creating value for both suppliers and buyers by bringing them together in one relaxed environment. With the ongoing Western expansion of Zondereinde mine taking place and drilling completed for the Shaft 3 addition, there is a need for top notch suppliers who can meet the needs of the mine.
Emalahleni
Portuguese Club
24 May 2023
13h00 – 17h00
Last but certainly not least will be the exciting Emalahleni exhibition, with the Witbank Portuguese Club as the venue. This town has become virtually synonymous with the coal industry, with more than 22 collieries and coal mines located in the region. This is a hotspot for those who can provide solutions to this major industry which is so vital for power generation in South Africa. So, if that applies to you then get in touch with our helpful sales team to ensure your booking while there is still space remaining. Visitors to the expo from the local coal operations will no doubt find exactly what they need to keep those mines functioning at their very best. MTE has also catered for local industrial operations, engineering companies and contract miners in the area, so visitors from these operations will also be able to meet suppliers who can assist them with their requirements.
That’s all for the May line-up but as one can see, MTE has a fully packed schedule with several high impact expos planned to deliver unmatched value for both suppliers and visitors. The Emalahleni exhibition in particular is shaping up to be one of the biggest MTE expos of 2023 – so if you want a piece of the action please have a look at the updated 2023 calendar and then get in touch using the details below.
