Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE) will host its popular high-impact mining and industrial expos tailored to the iron ore and manganese operations’ needs in the Northern Cape in the second week of July 2025.

MTE Hotazel Mining & Industrial Exhibition will take place on 8 July at Hotazel Rec Club from 13:00 to 17:00, while the MTE Kathu Mining & Industrial Exhibition will hit Hoërskool Kathu from 13:00 to 17:00 on 10 July.
MTE operations director Andrew Macnamara said, “Our traditional Hotazel expo is always well supported, with the likes of South32 and Black Rock mining operations in attendance. This will be followed by our Kathu Golf Day on 9 July, focussed on networking and fun.
“We are co-locating with PTE, Plumbing Travelling Exhibitions, at Kathu this year. PTE’s focus will be on maintenance and facilities management in the plumbing space. This will add value to a day which is traditionally one to remember.”
