Travelling exhibition specialist Mining and Technical Exhibition (MTE) is excited to be returning to Namibia with the Swakop Uranium expo.

On 19 March 2020, the MTE team will be at the Husab Mine for a high impact exhibition, which will take place from 12:00 to 17:00. This will be the first cross-border expo for 2020.
There have been a lot of positive mining developments in and around the Swakopmund area, which MTE has been monitoring closely. Among them was the development of the Husab Uranium Mine, which is the third largest uranium mine in the world. The discovery of the Husab uranium deposit in February 2008 was one of the world’s most significant mineral findings in decades. In 2011, SU was granted a licence to develop the world-class Husab Uranium Mine, which is the third largest uranium mine in the world.

By hosting this expo, MTE gives suppliers in the area an opportunity to exploit the many opportunities that are in the area. By exhibiting at the Swakop uranium expo, suppliers could have countless interactions with people that could potentially be useful business leads. As a cross-border expo, the Swakop Uranium show also gives suppliers an opportunity to branch out further into Africa.
