The company once again wowed the crowds with its impressive generator capabilities at the Sibanye-Stillwater MTE expo that was held on 09 May 2019 in Gauteng.

Chicago Pneumatic is committed to further sharing our comprehensive generator portfolio with potential customers across southern Africa,” notes Eben van der Vyver, Chicago Pneumatic business development manager – Southern Africa. “These one-of-a-kind MTEs provide us with the perfect platform to not only display our exceptional product and service suite but to also engage with visitors and learn more about their specific generator needs.”

According to van der Vyver, Chicago Pneumatic is proud to give away one of its best-in-class generators, the CPPG 5.5 Kva portable petrol generator, to lucky draw winners at these exhibitions. “Packed with advanced components and bearing testament to its Belgian manufacturing, these generators set the efficiency and optimal performance benchmark,” states van der Vyver. The CPPG generator range consists of 2.3Kva to 14Kva models which are available in petrol and diesel engines, silenced as well as in open frame variants. Private and professional customers in the construction, demolition and rental sectors receive peace of mind in the knowledge that this rugged assortment has been designed and developed to meet an eclectic array of requirements. Compact and easily manoeuvrable, these CPPG generators can be simply transported due to an ergonomic handle design for stress-free lifting.

Delving into the advanced unit’s features, the generator comprises a solid main frame with additional reinforcement around sensitive components, covered and recessed sockets as well as a protected electrical panel. Placing customer’s power needs at the core of design, Chicago Pneumatic has built these generators to deliver a constant electrical output and AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation) for steady operation. In addition, these generators comprise a large, reinforced fuel tank for extended production times.

Synonymous with reliability, superior-quality and enhanced performance, these CPPG generators are tested for 1 000 hours at (full) 100% load non-stop prior to release. “We ensure that these units undergo strenuous testing so that our customers have the assurance that they are operating rugged, tried-and-tested generators that contribute to minimised fuel consumption, energy savings and an extended service life,” explains van der Vyver.

When the moment arrived to announce the winner, van der Vyver and Leon Govender from Chicago Pneumatic dealer, Grinding Power, presented the highly sought-after prize to Natashia Boshoff from Sondo Contracting Services T/A S.A Electrical Motor Rewinders.

“This MTE was definitely one of the best exhibitions of the year as we received numerous enquiries and we were truly able to highlight Chicago Pneumatic’s vast industry knowledge and expertise,” concludes van der Vyver.
