Emalahleni (Witbank) Mining & Industrial Exhibition
The MTE team kicked off the month of May with a visit to Emalahleni (Witbank) for a customised coal exhibition on the 4th of May. Taking place at the scenic Portuguese club on a beautifully sunny day, this was the perfect backdrop for another exciting high impact expo which gave mining suppliers an excellent opportunity to exhibit their latest products and services catering for the coal mining industry.
With around 59 exhibitors having booked stands at the show there was plenty to see, feel and learn on the day. Our visitors totalled at around 183, a good turnout for the event with notable visitors including engineering superintendents, engineering managers and mine management in attendance.
All in all, this was a rewarding experience for both visitors and exhibitors who joined us on the day.
Zondereinde Mining & Industrial Exhibition
Weather conditions in Limpopo on the 17th of May were pleasantly sunny with a slight breeze – the perfect climate for another exciting Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE) expo! Following on from a great show at Witbank, the team moved on to Zondereinde Mine.
This time we had a more specialised event with the focus squarely on Zondereinde mine and locally produced commodities such as platinum and andalusite, in addition to industrial equipment. In total we welcomed 138 quality visitors, who ranged from mining managers, chief safety officers, concentrator managers and supervisors to mine overseers and instrumentation management.
In total we had just over 23 exhibitors who booked stands at the show, who as per usual put their best foot forward to market their latest offerings in innovation, new technology and bespoke services.
Overall, this was a huge success for all involved and the visitors were happy to be there, with one visitor enthusiastically commenting that they had found the expo to be “very informative and interesting, with plenty of useful knowledge gained”. In the end another great MTE show was had by all and we are eagerly anticipating the next expo happening in KZN on 7 June.
