The Equipment Specs Handbook 23/24 is an annual resource that has been published for the past 14 years – originally by Brooke Pattrick and now by Interact Media Defined (IMD). The publication was historically the 12th issue (printed each December) of the Plant Equipment and Hire publication, shelved during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The ESH objective
IMD has continued to print the ESH directory after COVID, as it adds so much value to the industry. This publication is a unique, one-of-a-kind publication – offering the construction, quarry and mining industry an annual compilation of the specifications of the various ranges of OEM construction and mining equipment available in Africa. It lists the contact details of the OEMs and their distributors in southern Africa. From earthmoving through to materials handling equipment, generators, attachments and compact equipment – you name it, the ESH specs it.
