Botswana is swiftly garnering international attention as one of the premier emerging economies in the SADC region, thanks to the country’s prudent and effective management of its natural resources and vast mineral wealth. For this reason, we are excited to have established good relations with the mines in the area for quite some time now and MTE can provide you with a gateway to these constantly growing mining operations.

Botswana is particularly known for its high-quality diamond reserves as well as an impressive supply of coal. In addition, there are also mining operations which produce cobalt, copper, gold, iron and manganese. Suppliers of equipment or solutions for these and adjacent industries will benefit hugely from these three expos by getting a chance to meet with high level management from the local mines in order to establish business connections.

In addition, to meet the needs of the mine and other operations in the area we would like to encourage suppliers of the following:

  • Predictive maintenance (4IR)
  • Robotics (welding, laser cutting)
  • Corrosion protection
  • Training simulators for continuous miners and shuttle car operators
  • Cap lamp technology
  • Real-time condition monitoring
  • Inventory management
  • Spare parts for crushers
  • Occupational health & safety personal monitoring equipment
  • Underground safety systems / Seismic activity monitoring

If you are a supplier of any of the above then please don’t hesitate to contact us with your innovative solutions.

That’s not all though, at the end of March will be the Nambia show – another cross-border affair taking place on 30 March 2023. In addition to suppliers to the Uranium processing industry, exhibitors we would most like to bring along would include: tailings solutions, conveyor repairs and components as well as heavy earth moving equipment for opencast mining (mining shovels, dump trucks etc). Automation solutions are also likely to be needed so if you can supply this please get in touch.

If any of the above shows sound enticing then it would be wise to book your place now in order to avoid disappointment, our helpful sales team can guide you through the registration process and set you up with a full exhibitor package including tables and chairs as well as advertising options.
