Travelling exhibition Mining & Technical Exhibitions (MTE) is currently in Botswana for its first cross-border expo of the year. The first show of the expo took place on Monday 8 April 2019 in Letlhakane and attracted many visitors.
Judging by the numbers, it is clear that the Letlhakane expo was highly anticipated by the mines and visitors in the area with more than 400 visitors gathering at the expo, which took place at Thakadu Hotel.
The venue buzzed with activity between 13:00 and 17:00 as exhibitors showcased their offerings to interested visitors. As the day progressed, visitors continued to assemble to see what the expo had to offer. It was almost impossible to find an empty exhibitor stand as exhibitors had their hands full interacting with visitors.
After the expo, exhibitors gave the show a net promoter score of 72 – an indication of a high-impact exhibition overall.
The MTE team moves to Palapye today for the second show of the Botswana tour, which is scheduled for 10 April at Kgaswe Primary School from 12:00 to 17:00.
