After a lot of planning in 2019, MTE has successfully hosted three of our 27 exhibitions in February, with very positive feedback from both visitors and suppliers.
We believe firmly in our face-to-face philosophy and that our networking platforms continue to bring buyer and supplier together at the heart of the mines and industry. Here’s some feedback from February:
Held on 11 February at Chilwavhusiku Colliery, the first of MTE’s two back-to-back exhibitions for February – Bronkhorstspruit – proved to be very successful exhibition.
With a focus on Junior miners, the show was intimate and customised to their needs. The quality of visitors was very good, and included mine managers, engineering managers, geologists, safety officers, plant managers, metallurgical engineers, as well as representation from each of the mines invited – including contractors on the mining side from one of the mines.
Bronkhorstspruit – what company representatives had to say:“Very happy with the turnout. Thank you.” – Premier Mapping “Informative and insightful – there was so much to learn and expand your mind.” – Black Royalty Minerals. |
Namibia is next on the calendar with our first ever on-site exhibition being held at Swakop Uranium’s Husab mine. A lot of hard work has paid off. With over 40 suppliers displaying their products and services, this will be an expo to remember! There is still space so don’t miss out.
Swakop Uranium Mining and Technical Exhibition
Date: 19 March 2020
Time: 12:00 – 17:00
Venue: Husab Mine
We are finding a much more positive vibe in the mining industry with the surge on the precious metal prices. With our upcoming platinum and gold exhibitions in May, we will ensure that we carry on with the positiveness by making them solution-driven and worthwhile for our exhibitors and visitors – so watch this space!
