“NAPO has been established as an initiative of an existing group of construction plant owners, to formalise and promote development, relationships and trust between plant owners and contractors, within the plant hire industry,” explains Alex Ackron, managing director HPE Africa. “By joining a professional alliance, members will benefit from networking with other construction companies, realise financial advantages and have the assurance that machinery is in good operating condition, complying to standard requirements. NAPO also ensures that suppliers comply with regulations like the Occupational Health and Safety (OHASA) Act and Compensation Commissioner.”

“Benefits of being part of a formal organisation include opportunities for collective buying with favourable costs, expedient payment arrangements, assistance with administration structures and help sourcing the best parts suppliers and companies offering dependable maintenance support.”
