The high-performance tools and equipment specialist was proud to sponsor a CPPG 5.5 Kva portable petrol generator at the Steelpoort MTE on 22 August 2019 in Limpopo.

“Our generator giveaway has been an instant success at all the MTEs this year,” says Eben van der Vyver, Chicago Pneumatic business development manager – Southern Africa. “But the Steelpoort MTE without any doubt stole the show.”

By showcasing Chicago Pneumatic’s state-of-the-art generator, visitors are given the opportunity to view not only the outstanding product features, but they also get to know the company and its vast capabilities. Recognising that customers have distinct preferences and requirements when it comes to generators, Chicago Pneumatic’s CPPG generators are a best-fit solution for both private and professional customers in the construction, demolition and rental sectors. This Belgian manufactured range includes 2.3Kva to 14Kva models available in petrol and diesel engines, silenced as well as in open frame variants. The 5.5 Kva generator, which all attendees hope to get their hands on, is a key unit in this high efficiency portfolio.

This ever-popular CPPG generator range most certainly lives up to the Chicago Pneumatic values of durability and operation and maintenance simplicity. Innately rugged, these innovative generators feature a solid main frame which includes additional reinforcement around sensitive components, covered and recessed sockets as well as a protected electrical panel. Uniquely designed and developed to provide stable electrical output and safe, user-friendly operation over an extended service life, these units also include AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation). Transportation is hassle-free thanks to the units’ simple, ergonomic handle design for smooth and easy lifting. In addition, these CPPG generators feature large, reinforced fuel tanks for extended work hours.

According to Van der Vyver, when it comes to quality and performance Chicago Pneumatic believes that there is simply no room for compromise. The company ensures that all its products undergo intensive testing prior to release, which is why the CPPG generators are tested for 1 000 hours at (full) 100% load non-stop. “We provide our customers with peace of mind in the knowledge that their generators have passed rigorous tests and are certified for use.”

Chicago Pneumatic was thrilled to be joined at the MTE by Michael Fogarty from Grinding Power, a Chicago Pneumatic distributor. When the moment arrived to announce the CPPG5.5 Kva generator lucky draw winner, the duo handed over the prize to an excited Darian Murray from Tubatse Ferro Chrome mine. Van der Vyver expresses, “This Steelpoort MTE was undoubtedly the best MTE of the year for us and we were pleasantly overwhelmed by the enormous number of enquiries and product feedback from the visitors.”

Van der Vyver concludes by saying that the exhibitions serve to further strengthen the Chicago Pneumatic brand to potential customers across South Africa as well as neighbouring countries. “Thanks to the diverse locations of these MTEs, we are gaining invaluable knowledge about existing and potential customers’ generator requirements. With the in-depth information gathered, we are able to look for new ways to enhance our product and service offerings so that we remain a preferred generator partner.”
